Services

Here are a few of the services I offer within the Bellingham, Sudden Valley, and greater Lake Whatcom area.

Garden maintenance + fine pruning

Using conservation gardening principles and PlantAmnesty Master Pruning techniques, I can care for your garden by focusing on seasonal plant care, building soil health, naturalistic pruning of small shrubs and trees, and other conservation related land care techniques.

Co-gardening + coaching

Gardening just might be better together! Available for routine, regular maintenance or special projects. We can work together to learn, plan, implement, and achieve your goals for your garden.

Seasonal land care survey

Do you want to care for your own garden, but don't know where to start? Spend an hour or two with me walking around your property each season and noticing who's blooming, what weeds are popping up, what wildlife is sharing your space, and what tasks are appropriate for the time of year.

Pollinator habitat garden design consultation

Do you long for a buzzing, floriferous perennial garden? Do you desire a few more birds in your shade garden? Or, maybe you want your edible plants to produce better? As a certified Pollinator Steward, I can help you design a garden bed specifically for pollinator & wildlife habitat that will bring pollinators, birds, and other wildlife into your garden.

Whether you know exactly what you want or don't know where to begin...

All new clients receive a complimentary 30 minute property and project assessment. Let's talk about your goals and what you want to accomplish.

About Me

Hi! I'm Devon and I am a professional horticulturalist. I hold a degree in Sustainable Landscape Management from Edmonds College and my Pollinator Steward certification from Pollinator Partnership. I have experience caring for both public and residential gardens. I am a former intern of Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden and Northwest Perennial Alliance at Bellevue Botanical Garden. These experiences shaped my approach to caring for a vast array of native and ornamental plants.

An avid hiker, I use inspiration from nature's awesomeness to bring life, harmony, and natural rhythms to the garden.
